Philadelphia Grand Jury - Going To The Casino
Our new favourite Aussies.
Apparently Philadelphia Grand Jury are pretty huge in their native Australia right now, and rightly so. Their 'Going To The Casino' download single doesn't reinvent the wheel - it's a stompy garage rock romp - but there's something irresistibly charming about the trio that makes the whole thing seem ridiculously ace. Maybe it's bass player Berkfinger's impressive beard, or the fact the video's set at a children's party, or just that it's simply a really great track. Either way, we love it.
The band have another single out in May on the Too Pure label, but in the meantime you can grab 'Going To The Casino' for free below. Yay!
