There's something deliciously retro about Japanese Voyeurs. In less able hands their Nirvana-meets-post-grunge-Britpop larks might sound like an absolute mess, but it turns out the Voyeurs simply have a knack for crafting a brilliant tune, as 'That Love Sound' (above) clearly proves. Mixing the best bits of 90s US alternative stuff and PJ Harvey-esque weirdo-pop, this one's a delight. The single's out this week.
