Lostprophets - It’s Not the End Of The World
Anybody think that Lostprophets couldn’t make a more stadium-sized chorus?
Anybody think that Lostprophets couldn’t make a more stadium-sized chorus than the songs that comprised 'Liberation Transmission'? This monster of an anthem isn’t just big, it’s Godzilla-sized. Their first release in bloody ages was well worth the wait (though most fans will already know every word due to it being in the live set for a while), ‘It’s Not The End Of The World But I Can See It From Here’ might not have a title that rolls off the tongue, but everything else about it will, be it the lyrics or just a flurry of words to friends about how bloody excited about the new album you are.
Despite the darker angle (obviously), it impossible not to feel upbeat listening to it, add to that, it’s one of the catchiest songs to be released this year, and can be safely filed under the list marked ‘career highlights’. They may have kept us hanging on for a while (considering what Mike told us when we spoke to him over 18 months ago!), but that only means they’ve had time for quality control – so by all rights 'The Betrayed' should be huge.
