Being back with more of the same can often be annoying.
Being back with more of the same can often be annoying, but when you refine your sound the way Billy Talent have been doing, that’s not such a bad thing.
‘Devil On My Shoulder’ is the second track released from their mixed-bag third album, and though it makes for a snappy single, there’s far better tracks on 'III' they could have picked. That said, it’s a good enough example of why the band have quietly become a much-loved headline act, and the lyrics and groove of the chorus will bounce around your head for days, certainly long enough to last until they hit the UK later this month.
