AFI - Miss Murder
A Fire Inside - more commonly known as AFI of course, delve deeper in to the more poppish depths of rock with the release of new single 'Miss Murder'.
Taken from album Decemberunderground, 'Miss Murder' keeps a good beat and is, in its own special way, a rather dance-y tune. Slightly more sophisticated than some of their other stuff, with powerful vocals from singer Davey Havok, it makes for enjoyable listening, and something even your parents might like.
Some of the lyrics are weak in places, and the song does sound repetitive at times, but this is made up for with an insanely catchy chorus, and a rather hypnotising guitar melody.
All in all, 'Miss Murder' promises to be, and stay, a classic hit for AFI, and the rock genre in general.Kat Christian
