Young Guns start recording new album in Thailand
The chaps head to exotic climes to start work on their next record.
Young Guns have jetted off to Thailand to begin recording their new album.
The band, who this week re-released their debut 'All Our Kings Are Dead' as a deluxe 'Gold Edition' package, have headed to Karma Sound Studios in Bang Saray with producer Dan Weller.
Frontman Gustav Wood said of this week's re-issue: “It only seems like yesterday that we released ‘All Our Kings Are Dead’. On the other hand though, it has brought us a lot of opportunities and allowed us to cover a lot of ground in that short space of time. It’s nice to be able to add to the album release with bonus features and a documentary that we feel tells the story of the last couple of years.”
“To find myself a year later on the way to the airport to record the follow up in Thailand is simply mind-blowing. We’ll be back in August gearing up for the whole process to start again! We can’t wait to see everyone at the shows in September, where we’ll be previewing some of the new songs for the first time.”
The band head out on a nationwide jaunt at the end of the summer, calling at the following places. Tickets are on sale now.
