Weezer, Architects, Airbourne added to Sonisphere 2011
A quartet of new additions for the fest...
Sonisphere 2011 has added another selection of bands to its lineup.
The awesome Weezer will play, alongside Architects, Airborne and Diamond Head. It's Weezer's first confirmed UK appearance since their quite-frankly-brilliant return at last year's Reading & Leeds festival.
Does it mean they'll be bringing their 'Memories' tour - the one where they do 'Pinkerton' and 'Blue' in their entirety - to the UK, though? We'd love it, but we're not holding our breath. Either way, it's pretty damn nice to have them back.
The bands join the previously announced Motorhead, Parkway Drive, Biffy Clyro, Slipknot, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax at the festival, which takes place at Knebworth on the weekend of 8 - 10 July.
