Trent Reznor has won an Oscar.
The Nine Inch Nails founder and frontman won the Best Original Score award last at the 83rd Academy Awards along with co-writer Atticus Ross (February 27th) for their soundtrack work on 'The Social Network', a movie documenting the creation of Facebook and starring Justin Timberlake.
Last month the duo won a Golden Globe ('Best Original Score - Motion Picture') for their work on the movie.
"When we finished work on 'The Social Network', we were very proud of our work and happy to just be involved in this film, and to be standing up here in this company is humbling and flattering beyond words" said Reznor as he accepted the Oscar. Watch the video below.
The duo's next film score is for 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo', from 'The Social Network's director David Fincher.
