Metallica announce new live EP, plus ‘Big Four’ DVD release
It's all go for the 'tallica this autumn...
Metallica have announced a new EP and DVD.
The 'Six Feet Down Under' EP, featuring live recordings from Australia at various points in the band's career, is out on 20th September via the band's official website. It features a mixture of fan-recorded bootleg recordings, as well as official recordings by the band that never saw the light of day.
As well as that, the band will feature on 'The Big Four Live From Sofia' DVD, released on 25th October. The two discs feature the legendary 'Big Four' European concerts from earlier in the year, where Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax and Megadeth all played on the same bill. It's set to feature full shows from all four bands, as well as behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, and all kinds of lovely bonus stuff.
"Who would have thought that, more than 25 years after its inception thrash metal's Big Four would not only still be around, be more popular than ever, and playing shows together at stadiums all over Europe?"
