Guns N’ Roses cancel Reading & Leeds festival slot?

Could the legendary rockers be missing from this year's bill?

It's believed Guns N' Roses may have pulled out of all their upcoming gigs, including the headlining slot at this year's Reading & Leeds festivals.

Frontman Axl Rose last night tweeted: "All upcoming Guns N' Roses dates are officially cancelled. Please contact your place of purchase for any refunds."

It's unknown how far the cancellations extend, as the band recently announced a short UK arena tour.

UPDATE: The official Reading & Leeds site suggests Rose's Twitter account was hacked, and the band are still playing:
"Festival Republic are informed by GN’R management that Guns N’ Roses have NOT cancelled their performances at Reading & Leeds and that Axl Rose’s twitter account was hacked into and all claims of dates being cancelled are unfounded."

Stay tuned to Rocklouder or follow us on Twitter for more updates on this quite-frankly-a-bit-weird story as we get it.
