Grammatics set to split up
Leeds rockers call time on the whole 'band' thing. Bummer!
Grammatics are set to split.
We're sad to reveal the Leeds-based quartet, signed to the influential Dance To The Radio label, are set to call it a day after the release of a final EP and tour this summer.
The band, who forged a sound that mixed Britpop melody and Muse-style mega-rock, have yet to release an official statement about the split. They released their debut album 'Grammatics' to critical acclaim in 2009.
Their final jaunt calls at the following places:
July
21 - The Well, Leeds
24 - Strawberry Jam Festival (Acoustic Set)
25 - City Hall, Sheffield
August
13 - The Lexington, London
14 - Start The Bus, Bristol
15 - Dead Institute, Manchester
16 - Captains Rest, Glasgow
17 - Stereo, York
19 - Walkabout, Barnsley
