Garbage confirm new album in the works, look to tour in 2011

Garbage have confirmed they're working on material for a new album, and hope to tour in 2011.
Frontwoman Shirley Manson said: "I’m working on a record right now with the band. We’ve recorded quite a lot but it’s difficult to quantify"
"It’s the first one in a long time. I took about five years off. I’d like to do some touring next year" she told the Scotland Herald.
No release date has been set for the album yet, but we'd expect the band to play at least a couple of European festivals next year if there's an album due.
Manson was rumoured to be working on a solo album since Garbage's hiatus in the early 2000s, but it's believed to have been scrapped. Butch Vig from the band is currently working on the new Foo Fighters record.
