Former Alice In Chains bassist Mike Starr found dead
44 year old Starr found dead in Salt Lake City.
Previous Alice In Chains bassist Mike Starr has died.
The musician, who played with Alice In Chains up until 1993, had previously appeared on the VH1 reality show Celebrity Rehab in an attempt to overcome his heroin addiction.
A body was found at an address in Salt Lake City, Utah yesterday afternoon (8th March) after police were called.
In February, Starr was arrested for possessing a controlled substance, including painkillers.
A cause of death has yet to be confirmed and Alice In Chains have yet to comment on the story.
