Festival roundup: The Strange Boys & Big Pink for Latitude, Fucked Up for Øya
It's festival season! Hooray!
A handful of Rocklouder-friendly bands have today been announced for some of this year's festivals.
The Big Pink, Black Mountain and The Strange Boys have been added to this year's Latitude festival, taking place in leafy Suffolk from 15th - 18th July. The rest of the bill veers from shockingly embarrassing (The Feeling, but that'd be our 'queue at the bar' band) to the actually-pretty-good (The XX, The National, The Horrors). Tickets are still available here, but we're expecting it to sell out pretty soon.
Elsewhere, everyone's favourite hardcore gang Fucked Up have been announced for the Øya festival in Oslo, Norway. They join the freshly reunited Pavement as well as The National, M.I.A and LCD Soundsystem at the event, taking place between 10th - 14th August in the centre of Oslo.
