Enter Shikari cancel gig after ceiling collapse
Band pull plug on Blackpool show.
Enter Shikari were this weekend forced to cancel a gig at Blackpool's Empress Ballroom due to safety issues.
The date, part of the quartet's current tour across the UK, was set to go ahead as normal on Saturday (6th February) until the band started to soundcheck.
Part of the venue's ceiling proceeded to collapse during the soundcheck, forcing venue officials and the band's management to pull the plug on the gig. The band apologised to fans personally, and took time to sign autographs and chat to ticketholders outside for four and a half hours.
A rescueduled date is expected to be announced in the coming weeks, with Blackpool tickets being valid for the new show. Keep checking back to Rocklouder, or follow us on Twitter, for more news as we get it.
