Steve Tyler Hospitalised After Fall
The Aerosmith frontman was airlifted to hospital after the incident onstage in South Dakota.
Aerosmith frontman Steve Tyler was airlifted to hospital yesterday (5th August) after falling offstage.
Tyler and the band were performing at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally gig in South Dakota, US, when the accident occured. The singer was dancing on a catwalk to entertain fans after the power cut out during 'Love In An Elevator', when he slipped and fell offstage. An onsite doctor looked after him as he was airlifted to Rapid City Regional Hospital with injuries to his neck and shoulder.
Tyler's daughter Mia has informed fans via her Twitter page that he is okay and is recuperating: "Just got the news that my dad is okay. Thank you all for your wonderful prayers and positive energy!"
