Green Day Push Power-Pop?
Punk vets talk about new album.
Punk heroes, Green Day have spoken about the follow up to 2004's American Idiot.
Speaking to Alternative Press, Billie Joe Armstrong said the band have been pushing boundaries.
"I really like f*cking with arrangements, and I always try to look at the possibilities of how you write power-pop music"
To which he added:
"I'm pushing myself to be progressive in songwriting and being a songwriter."
