Ace label, 4AD, will release a compilation album, entitled Dark Was the Night on 16 February.

It's a charity album, produced by Aaron and Bruce Dessner, and includes a whopping 32 tracks featuring artists as diverse as The Decembrists, Bon Iver, My Morning Jacket and Yo La Tengo.

Best of all, profits go towards the Red Hot Organisation, a charity raising funds and awareness for HIV and Aids.

Here's the full list of artists involved. It's a bit impressive.
