so, with GIAN over for another year, what’s everyones thoughts of best/worst of the weekend?

the highlights for us had to be glassjaw, paramore, billy talent, all time low, chiodos, four year strong, you me at six, alkaline trio and the blackout.

can’t say we were overly impressed with 30 seconds to mars. granted, going on after glassjaw and billy talent is gonna be a bit of a push for most bands, but all we got was his ego (again) and we certainly weren’t alone in thinking that!

…and to round things off, 30 seconds to mars were so A-mazing that they killed our blackberry haha.

we totally forgot how fucking AMAZING billy talent were! band of the day fo’sure (and that’s saying something!) we do seem to say that every band, but this time we’re definitely sticking with our choice.

a bit of carnage over at the signing tent as you me at six are greeted with girly screaming that would make you think you were at a mcfly concert. guitar hero and atticus just broke the world record for most people watching a video game performance as the 2 highest scorers from the atticus booth just tore through ‘welcome to the jungle’ on the 2nd stage while billy talent get line checked over on the main……

we’ve seen some pretty awesome sets this weekend so it’s with no disrespect to the other bands when we say that glassjaw are currently shitting over them all from a massive height!
completely incredible.

anti-flag have got a good old pit going, and they’re playing some new stuff too! Everyones getting pretty psyched for glassjaw now though who are up next on the main stage……

the biggest signing tent queue of the weekend goes to the blackout by a fucking mile! they’re not even turning up for half an hour and people are lined up halfway round the venue. good work thos boys…

We just bumped into half of the ‘talent backstage out by their tourbus, and they INSISTED in recording a video blog for us. Keep an eye out later and we’ll see if we can’t get in up for you… they sent their love,b by the way.
The blackout played an awesome show just before all that happened, and they were joined by the fuel girls for a fire-d up finale. Very fun. (As was literally bumping into them backstage!)
We’re off to find some dinner now before silverstein hit the main stage…. Bye!

there’s a huge crush at the front as everyone tries to get over to watch you me at six on the side stage. they’ve pulled a fucking massive crowd, easily the biggest of the day out of both stages. loads of crowd surfers and everyone in the venue must be singing along…

the crowds not the biggest for them, but strike anywhere get a proper circle pit going. they’re on top form too…. after that we think its time for our first hot dogs of the day! you me at six are up next on the 2nd stage…
