Bullet For My Valentine week: Our favourite underrated bands
The band's week on Rocklouder continues.
It's Bullet For My Valentine week here on Rocklouder, and to celebrate the release of their new album 'Fever' we've only gone and got 'em in to guest edit the site for a whole week. You lucky things. Today they reveal to Rocklouder their three favourite underrated bands - the ones they love listening to that haven't had either the success or acclaim they really deserve - and that you should hunt out immediately.

DevilDriver
Moose: "They've been around for a while, but they've just released a great new album. They feature Dez Fafara, who used to be in Coal Chamber, who were also excellent back in the day. The new album's called 'Pray For Villians' - it was released in the summer last year I think, and it's an album that's well worth listening to if you can get hold of it. They really don't get the kind of kudos they deserve, I reckon."
Matt: "Yep, this lot are a good band. Very underrated."
Avenged Sevenfold
Matt: "Avanged Sevenfold are great and deserve a lot more respect than they actually get - it was incredibly sad when their drummer passed away. We tend to listen to them a lot. They're always consistently good - album after album is always really solid and they're also an amazing live band, as you can see above."
36 Crazyfists
Moose: "I think 36 Crazyfists are simply a great band. It's just a shame they don't get anywhere near enough attention as they should. We live in 'Bullet' world a lot of the time so a lot of our choices aren't particularly new, but these are bands we respect and admire - 36 are just fantastic."
Matt: "I'd agree, 36 Crazyfists are great. There are a lot of established bands like that who really fly under the radar. We're not really suggesting any really new bands today - as Moose said we're in 'Bullet' world a lot of the time, constantly on tour and we listen to the same records over and over again. So in some respects we're a little out of touch with new bands and what's going on in the rock world - we don't really get to listen to a lot of stuff that's dramatically new, or very new artists. It's mainly established bands that are within our world - like Avenged Sevenfold and 36 Crazyfists, for instance. It's not hard to get out of it but you concentrate on what you do a lot of the time so you're a little bit blinkered to other stuff that's going on!"
