Vote: Track Of The Month - August!

In a brand new Rocklouder feature, we want you to listen to our shortlist, and then vote for the track of the month...

Today is the start of a brand new Rocklouder feature!

Each month, we're gonna post up a list of songs that are currently on the RL! office stereo, some you will be enjoying as much as us, some you might not have heard of, and some might just old classics that we've dug out from the depth of our itunes.

Whichever category they fall into, we can highly recommend giving them a spin (via the handy links) to brighten up your day! Once you've given them the once over, we want you to post in the comments at the bottom of the article with which your favourite track is. Don't worry about needing to log-in or register to cast your vote, as none of that is needed...

At the end of each month we'll be left with your favourite track from the current list and we'll use this to compile the tracks of the month, and in theory end up with a pretty bloody good Rocklouder tracklisting for you, that will keep getting
bigger as the months go by.

So now, we give you what's on the Rocklouder stereo in August week...

The Academy Is... - 'About A Girl'
The new TAI album hits the stores of America next Monday (Aug 18th), and while you might have been waiting a while for it, there's been a few tracks from the record hitting the net to wet our appetites. You can listen to our favourite - 'About A Girl' - by clicking here for the guys myspace page.

Go:Audio - 'She Left Me'
We've been following the Go:Audio boys progress since we first met them sometime before they released their debut 'Woodchuck' EP, and today (Aug 11th) they release their brand new single - 'She Left Me' - and it looks set to conquer the charts! Listen to this track either on their myspace, or via the super exclusive acoustic session that they recorded for us the other day.

Farewell - 'Eighty Eights'
The debut LP from North Carolina's Farewell hasn't been off our CD player for longer than a few hours since they released it here at the beginning of the year. It's a belter, and now to coincide with their first ever tour here in October, they've announced that they'll be releasing standout track 'Eighty Eights' as a single. Check it out on their myspace player by clicking here.

Jack's Mannequin - 'The Resolution'
