Artist Of The Year: #7 - Enter Shikari
After knocking back pretty much every label in the country and their massive advances, Enter Shikari used 2007 to release their debut album on their own Ambush Reality label, and then tour the absolute shit out of it. 'Take To The Skies' debuted at #4 in the UK album charts in March of this year.
They've graced magazine covers, they've played slots at festivals that they could of only dreamed about 12 months previously, they've won big at the Kerrang Awards, they've released ANOTHER album full of b-sides and rarities, and to cap it all off their Autumn UK tour saw them headlining ridiculous sized venues including Brixton Academy and 2 nights at Manchester Apollo.
All this, and a year to the day ago from when we're writing this, Rocklouder was watching them play a show in the bar at Luton University Students Union. A pretty good year, eh?
