The Amateur Dramatics

Who?
Sunderland-based mythical legends, currently consisting of Peter Stebbing (vox / guitar), Helen Michaelides (piano), Chris Prior (bass), and Andy Dunn (drums).

What's The Deal?
Am Drams are like the finishing school of the North East - a right of passage if you're a serious musician, anyone who's anyone has been in them, including members of This Ain't Vegas, Field Music and The Futureheads, however the line-up has always centered around Peter Stebbing. After all, the music is his heart.

Will I Like It?
Admitedly, The Am Drams aren't to everybody's taste. However, fans of The Band, Leonard Cohen, Patti Smith, The Velvet Underground, and most importantly, original music, will adore them.

What's Next?
There are currently two EPs in circulation, both which can be picked up for a couple quid at the bands gigs, the future ones of which look a bit like this:

January
14 Head Of Steam, Newcastle
21 Voodoo Rooms, Pure Bar, Sunderland
31 The Cluny, Newcastle

March
25 Head Of Steam, Newcastle
