Metro Manila Aide

Who?
Liverpool's very own Metro Manila Aide have only just begun to blow up a scene desperate for a wake up call. Consisting of Adam Keegan on Drums, Danny Rogers on Guitar, Mark Jeffries on Bass and Paul McBride taking up Vocals and guitar, Metro Manila Aide have a sound that pushes the envelope and could soundtrack violent altercations.

What's the deal?
Angular guitars that lash out like a hot snake, a frontman who should probably be sanctioned, concussive bass lines and a drummer that brings something great to the band rather than just settling as a backing musician, Metro Manila Aide are a band not content with playing everyday metal. Their songs cause fits of violence amongst their fans due to their sound coming across with such powerful intensity. With lyrics that would confuse the most enigmatic of characters their gigs are not so much live shows, more religious experiences ending in a baptism by fire due to the sonic brilliance they craft.

Will I like It?
With a sound not unlike but in no way overbearingly similar to Tool, ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Oxes and a more heavy Mewithoutyou, they will appeal to those looking for a shining star in a metal scene. Screaming vocals harsh guitars and off kilter beats that head towards raucous riffs that will melt your face off, they are a band doing their own thing and setting fire to everything around them whilst doing it.
