Who?
Two arty types based in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, drummer Christo (originally from the wonderfully named village of Tring) and guitarist / singer Pea Sea make delightfully energetic music for those amoung us who like their lyrics in the 'nonsensical' pile.
What's The Deal?
Inspired by the likes of Minutemen and The Housemartins, Les Cox agree all-too heartedly with D. Boon's 'Start a band!' advice, never stopping to let anything real bother them.
Will I Like It?
If you like music that can make you dance as well as make your bones tingle and shake your thinking structure to its core, then this lot are for you.
What's Next?
A prestigious support slot on Maximo Park's hometown show next week will surely gain them some new fans (it did when they supported the lads in another small show back last summer), and they're gigging locally constantly. For now, we recommend you head over to their Myspace and listen to their demos -especially the hilarious 'Les Cox Special'.
