Yet another capital band - this one stars Daniel (vox / guitar), James (guitar), Hugo (bass) and Thomas (drums).
What's The Deal?
The very-enthusiastic, brilliantly insane Data.Select.Party are an electro-pop band fighting against the grain. Where as everybody else, from Klaxons to The Automatic, is opting for songs with synth-led riffs, all DSP have to do to mix it up is be perhaps not so original and stick to the guitars - but my, does it serve them well.
Will I Like It?
DSP are universal - you'll like them no matter what you're into, they're so good it's simply undeniable. They're also extremly coy about their influences, which can only help as one goes into their music knowing not a single thing and comes out as the messiah.
What's Next?
Despite already having over an albums worth of material, the lads are constantly writing and some new demos should be surfacing soon, but make sure to grab the limited four-track 3" single 'This Charm Is Charmless' while you can, then head on down to see them:
