The wonderful Gaslight Anthem release their new album 'American Slang' this week. It's great. If you liked their Springsteen-meets-Hot Water Music gruff American rock'n'roll before you'll love this one - they've taken what's made them great and amplified it by, um, loads. We don't want to make predictions, but we reckon this one's the album where they finally become the band they've always threatened to be. Ie, massive.
