Houston Calls have sacked their guitarist Jose Lopez, after he 'shacked up' with frontman Tom Keiger's ex-girlfriend.
Tom posted a myspace blog announcing that he'd kicked Jose out the band yesterday (Sun 4th Jan):
"Our good "friend" Jose has decided to shack up with my (Tom) ex-girlfriend immediately after she broke my heart and left me. The two hid it from me for weeks over christmas and only until yesterday when I had to find out was I informed. Great guy! Stand up guy! Well to put it bluntly he's out of the band for good and hopefully lives a terrible life forever. I don't know what's going to happen yet but I'll be sure to keep everyone informed."
This comes less than 2 weeks after bassist Jarrett Seltzer left the band on good terms after revealing he didn't want to tour anymore.
The band are due to hit the road supporting Valenica on January 29th but there is no word yet as to whether this will be going ahead.
