As if there weren't enough festivals, Smalltown America are putting on This Ain't No Picnic on 27/28 September. It'll be held at King’s College London Student Union.

As you'd expect, considering the name (bonus scene points for getting the reference) this is not for chart smashing megastars, but instead some of the finest alternative bands around.

Headlined by South Wales' fantastic Future Of The Left on the Saturday and Polysics on the Sunday, the weekend will see a host of underground talent including Chris T-T, Tubelord, Fighting With Wire, Gindrinker and This Town Needs Guns.
