Monday's Chart Round-Up!

It's Monday and it's chart round-up time!
Johnny Cash goes crashing in at #1 this week in what appears to be the record buying public finally seeing some sense and downloading 'Hurt' in their droves. Oh no, hang on. Bit of a smudge on the page... 'Hurt' is actually at number 100. Bum.
Well, with that revelation we're afraid that the singles top 40 is pretty bloody uninteresting this week, lacking all but a single thing of note to report, which is just shocking. Really, really shocking. That single thing though is the chart debut of Go:Audio with the rather excellent 'Made Up Stories' hitting #33.
Elsewhere, there is a bit more news going on with the Mystery Jets new single 'Two Doors Down' continues to climb ahead of it's release today, and currently sits at #53, up from #87 last week. Neil Diamond crashes into the countdown with 'Sweet Caroline' being downloaded enough times to warrant it a spot at #73, whilst likewise with Johnny Cash appearing at #100 with 'Hurt'. (SORRY!)
On the album chart there is significantly more to report however. The Pigeon Detectives have fooled enough people into buying their tripe to get them a new entry at #5, whilst The Futureheads make a good showing with their self-released (and excellent) new LP 'This Is Not The World' entering at #17.
Kids In Glass Houses ride their debut album into the charts at a thoroughly impressive #31, so our congratulations to the guys as 'Smart Casual' blasts out of office stereo right this second.
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz celebrates her marriage to Pete with a new entry at #57 with 'Bittersweet World', while Linkin Park jump from #114 to #58 with 'Minutes To Midnight'.
To round-up this week's round-up, we can report that 36 Crazyfists crack the charts with their brillo new album 'The Tide And It's Takers' hitting the count at #83. Marvellous.
Until next week pop-pickers...
