After online and onstage tensions, not to mention plenty of encounters with the law and rehab, Velvet Revolver have parted ways with wayward vocalist Scott Weiland.
The band released a statement on April 1st:
"This band is all about its fans and its music and Scott Weiland isn't 100% committed to either," relayed everyone's favourite guitar hero, Slash. "Among other things, his increasingly erratic onstage behavior and personal problems have forced us to move on."
Weiland won't be too worried, however, as he has the upcoming Stone Temple Pilots reunion coming up. Which is more than likely for the best for both camps.
