Who Are They?
Our Last Night are a 5-piece hardcore/scream band from New Hampshire in the States. They're made up of Trevor Wentworth (vox), Matt Wentworth (guitars), Alex 'Woody' Woodrow (bass), Colin Perry (guitars), and Tim Milloy (drums).
What’s The Deal?
The band have been together since 2004 and self-released an EP - 'We've Been Holding Back', and mini-album 'Building Cities From Scratch', before signing to the prestigious Epitaph Records in 2007.
Their debut full length 'The Ghosts Among Us' is released on March 3rd.
Will I Like It?
Much of their material is made up with heavy riffing and some pretty brutal breakdowns. Tie all that in with some insanely catchy choruses and you've got Our Last Night. If any of that sounds like your thing then stopping by their myspace to check them out further is well worth 5 minutes of your time. If your usual fare is anything like Underoath, Silverstein and Saosin, then it's your sort of thing! Their upcoming debut LP was produced by Steve Evetts too, who has previously worked with bands including Dillinger, Every Time I Die, and Saves The Day.
What’s Next?
As we mentioned up there a bit, their debut LP 'The Ghosts Among Us' is unleashed on March 3rd (and it's fucking awesome, by the way...) and their current US touring schedule takes them well into May, on a bill that includes Alesana, The Chariot, Sky Eats Airplane, and LoveHateZero. In amongst those shows they'll make an appearance at the Californian leg of Bamboozle too. Fingers crossed we'll be seeing them in the UK sometime soon after...
