Artist Of The Year: #9 - Fall Out Boy
2007 saw Fall Out Boy release 'Infinity On High', their 3rd full length, early in the year. The album has sold bucketloads all over the world and the band have built on the commercial success that started with previous record 'From Under The Cork Tree'.
'Infinity On High' hit #1 in the USA selling in the millions, and peaked at #3 in the UK album charts, with the album's main single 'This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race' reaching #2 in the UK singles chart.
In the States, they guys headlined the annual Honda Civic Tour, and followed it up with their own Young Wild Things Tour later in the year. They performed at the American leg of Live Earth, as well as playing live at the MTV Video Music Awards.
A number of fairly brief appearances in the UK (all thoroughly sold out of course) means a larger scale tour is no doubt coming our way in 2008. Indeed, rumours are abound that they will headline the Give It A Name festival that takes place in London and Sheffield next May.
